The Sand, The Sea, and The Diverse Peace.

Now more than ever it seems that we an intelligent species cannot sway from our constant lives of work and no play to find a distraction in the beauty that the Earth herself offers to us.
The beach is my solitude, maybe it was years of, sand in my toes and the waves crashing against my skin, that I buried myself in the very essence of "there's no place like home" but when being an  adult hit, I forgot what it was like to enjoy the salt in the air and the breeze through my hair.

We often do that a lot forget, on a daily basis really, that there is so much more to living then working our fingers to the bone and stressing if it's safe to walk down the street in our neighborhoods. Nowadays we can not say that it's safe because of the deranged run rampant and the sane are forced to take cover and forget about life's simple pleasures. Really? What the hell happened, why must we fall from the life of ease and work our way into struggle? because that's the way the cookie crumbles some would say, America is the land of the Free, Are we really? or  (70s reference) Are we bound by the shackles of the man?
I for one think that we the people are free but are forced into a slaverous lifestyle, no matter, your race, color or religion. It bounds us all to work, drag ourselves along and scratch that last penny to live, to breathe. Why must we fight so much?
In all reality, we were not created to slave and bend to the will of man. Man and woman were created to live life and enjoy the beauty that we are surrounded by everyday. Instead, we have forgotten our roots due to greed and selfishness we have caused this turmoil and those who stand against have been silent all because one belief turns the other cheek and we are forgotten.

I for one believe that there is a means to an end.  We have the power.  Amerca has shifted in silence and outrage, too much has been bottled inside us.  That all the aggression is being shifted on those who are blameless, why can't we be as calm as waves crashing into the sea, or as calm as a seagull's call? Where is the step up, where is the forgotten and where are the guts that we used to have, not only in America but throughout the world.

All we've ever known is hate, hate thy neighbors because they are different. We are a diverse world, that is true but we should be united as individuals who can stand side by side in peace with limited, if not any hate in our hearts. United we stand, divided we can fall. Is that not the slogan of all men.

As more years pass, the silence (nothing) grows more and more dangerous, threatened wars, no sleep worrying that things will crumble before us. While others stick to the notion of superiority the rest of us are just trying to live our lives, in the calm sand, taking in the ways and the crisp ocean air.
